I occasionally make music as Love Morris. Listen on bandcamp.

rushmore beekeepers

rushmore beekeepers is an electro-folk duo made up of me and Zach Fountain. I’ve been creating artwork for RBK since the early 2000s and officially joined the band in 2017 with the release of A Reasonable Distance. Here are some of my designs over the last 8 years.

Album/EP Covers

bend, break by rushmore beekeepers
phoning it in (2021 Edition)
rushmore beekeepers - what lives and what grows
as big as life - rushmore beekeepers
RBK - a reasonable distance

Song Every Seven

RBK wrote, recorded, and released one song every Tuesday from March 2020 to March 2021. Alongside my contributions to the music, I designed artwork and animations for all 52 songs to share on social media using Procreate and an Apple Pencil. Here’s a sample.

song every seven - rushmore beekeepers
song every seven - you, the unkown
song every seven, instrumental edition
song every seven - golden age
song every seven - the ground changed direction
song every seven - the words
song every seven - catch our breath
song every seven - back and forth
song every seven - locked down and shuttered
song every seven - christmas will be all right

Music

We record long-distance, with Zach writing songs and sending vocal, guitar, mandolin, and harmonica tracks to me. I complete the arrangements with vocals, electro beats, keyboards, electric guitar, bass, and clarinet. Below is a sample of our songs—Rushmore Beekeepers is available on all streaming platforms (and Bandcamp) if you want to hear more. 🎧
